Sissy Bar

The sissy bar on my 02 1500 was made for a honda 650 shadow. I had to do some modification with the brackets to make it work. The brackets have holes for mounting a luggage rack also. I too have small leather saddlebags. I searched and search for a sissybar. I didn't want something that would be lightweight. Here's what my ride looked like on my 1650 mile solo ride.

Im looking for some sissy bar options for my 99 Drifter 1500. I have the 2-up seat. I'm not so interested in the sissy bar as I am in mounting luggage. I have side saddlebags but they are small. I'm planning a road trip to Daytona for bike week in March. I thought adding a sissy bar might give me the option to tie down the luggage.
