Somewhere I read that the only difference between the Drifter 1500 and the Classic 1500 was the fenders and swingarm; how the brake caliper mounts, etc, and the exhaust. Due to a  rapidly deteriorating spine and major joint deterioration (hips knees, shoulders, etc),{NOT what this topic is about!} I did some research into triking my !500 drifter. Apparently there some major differences there; a trike kit for a Classic would NOT work on a Drifter; this from several trike manufactures and trike kit installers. So, I decided to trike my 02 Harley Softail Classic instead; great move, had it done in Kamloops B.C. by a young fellow there, who owns and operates SideEffects, and a custom fab shop called Metal Morphasis. Great job, did some fantastic work to modify an exhaust system to work with the reverse kit. I settled for a Frankenstein Trike kit, which works only on belt drive and chain drive(the reason for this topic; it apparently can be done on the Drifter 800).
I will add some pics to show what it looks like, hopefully this info will help someone needing or wanting to trike their 800 Drifter.

Regards and such,
