Ok, so I mentioned in another thread that my grandfather got a 1500 Drifter to compliment my 800.  What I think was DUMB about it is that it had a $300 cobra exhaust on it with little or NO heat shield.  That's how the aftermarket exhaust came!  Not only did I burn my leg on it just sitting on it but my gpa severely burnt his leg TWICE!  To top it off....it wasn't even loud man...c'mon...really???  Good thing he's installing fishtails!!!!  Using the original exhaust "header" pipes with the factory heat shields before he makes the cross over.  But seriously....why pay for an exhaust like that???  Personally, I don't get it but meh....not my bag I guess.
