Thanks for the reply, I disconnected the Power Commander and found the bike had a bad plug. I changed them when I installed the PC3 and am surprised of this as I have blown another since, this is the first this has happened. I am going to replace the coils as the bike appeared to be running rough causing a unpleasant ride.

I did discover how to manually set the PC3 from the unit itself however. You must be holding the three buttons in on the front before powering up. so if you hold all three buttons then plug in the battery it will allow manual programming to fine tune from the map loaded.

If you go online, you can go to their site; phone them, they can walk you trough any issues. If you have access to a laptop, they can actually go through your laptop, and program your unit for you; you would need to hook your laptop up to the PCIII module. Also, the PCIII module requires ALL connections be done using the wires/connectors supplied; even the ground wire. If you hooked it up according to their instructions, then that shouldn't be the issue.  Try giving them a call; I had to get their help downloading their program to my laptop; for some reason, it wouldn't load. They went in to my laptop from their computer, did the set up, changed the mapping on the module, everything was good after that.

Hope this helps; keep us posted.

I have installed a power commander 3, I have loaded the map for my pipes. The pipes are the only change. my throttle position is reading 100%, i have tried to set it but have been unsucessfull. The bike runs as bad (fowling plugs and runs rough) as it did before. this is why i thought the tps may be the problem.

Also I can not get the pc3 into manual adjustment by pressing the 3 buttons at the same time.

If someone has installed the pc3 on the Drifter 1500 and could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
Steve
