Yea, that's sorta strange. I have read some folks are fine with them, but have also seen some poor reviews. Which is why we want to see folks head into the accessories area and review any product/company they have had experience with. It gives us a balanced view before we spend our bucks.

Done as requested. The Dephi forum has had members receive inferior products from Mike's Custom Grilles also. But according to Ebay's reviews everyone loves them - must have had an epidemic of poor eyesight.

In addition to posting here, we have a place for product/vendor reviews. We really should share this info.

If you will, please do a review of the product. You might have to add the product and then do the review.  Below is the link to that part of the accessories page. And, YES, include the company name. Fair and honest product reviews are not only appropriate, but a valuable public service.

Well guys, I got took. The old addages "you get what you pay for" and "if it's too good to be true, then it probably is" are, unfortunately, still in full force today.

I found, what I thought was a great deal, on a "custom cut brushed aluminum grille" for my '06 drifter for (first warning bell) $35.00!!!!. {Wow what a great deal!!!} "Custom cut with leading CNC Plasma cutting technology". {Cool!} On ebay {well okay} Custom brushed aluminum Screaming Eagle design for you drifter. Shipping $12.49, 6 to 8 days delivery from Michigan Fed ex or UPS ground {?, I live in Iowa, 8 hr drive to Michigan}  Low res, out of focus, digital photo (2nd warning bell) . But I ordered it anyway. (DUH!!)

A week later I get a package from CANADA, with the "custom cut grille" that looks like a 3rd grader with a dull cutting wheel chopped it out of a flat 0.080' piece of aluminum. I've seen smoother used corn cobbs!! A buddy who is an auto body techician says about 8 to 12 hours of polishing with a fine file or dremel tool grinding stone MAY make it passable - at a distance. It's not worth sending back for the shipping of $12.49 and a 20% restocking fee.  I may have it powered coated silver or just put it up on the garage wall as a tribute to my own stupidity.

If you need the ebay sellers name, email me, (it's in my profile). Palidin
