I really like that travel trunk.......

I bought one similar but fringed, from J&P Cycle; good price, great project. I don't ride without it.

Getting married took up a bunch of time this spring. But, it was worth it!!!!

Anyhow, I got around to swapping out the fork springs and fluid on the 800. The progressive springs make a world of difference. The bike is much better planted and the front brake is way better without the excessive diving. I also removed the front rotor and cleaned it up and re-painted with aluminum wheel paint. . This bike must have been put away wet in it's past life. The 2 up seat went back to the upholsterer for more modification. The results of all of this have been fantastic. The bike handles much better with the front and rear progressive shocks and springs and the seat is no longer a torture device.

Now....maybe replace the rear brake pads.....The previous owner must have used organic pads. They get the whitewalls very dirty, very quickly. Semi-Metallics sure don't do that.
