Electrical problem

For me, electricity is how I turn the lights on. I wouldnt know an amp from a tramp.... well maybe that one I would.

I hear ya. I hooked up a pig tail line directly to my battery today. I noticed the problem a few hours after I did that. I then disconnected to wire and have the same problem. I hate electrical problems.
I am thankful for your remote advice.

Pull the plug apart on the swing arm, near the d/shaft, and check for corrosion in there. Try disconnecting the plug and checking the lights, so you can isolate which one is screwing up...If the problem changes, like the signals flash fast on both sides, then the problem is in the rear... most likely in the plug or wiring inside the fender. It's so much easier to find these things when I can see and touch the patient!

Hum.... I notice that when I press the left turn signal the wires around my left rear signal heat up. I can rewire the rear but where is the ground for the headlight?

Bad ground on the left side. The turn signal is attempting to ground through the headlight filament.

So today I found that when I use my left turn signal the indicator light hardly can be seen, the front turn signal hardly flashes and my headlight dims. The rear doesnt flash but
causes my brake light to flash.

Right Side works perfectly soup to nuts. What gives?
