solo seat

the original seat has an entire brace that surrounds the 2 up seat holds the seat on and doesn't seem to be usable on the solo. the 2 triangle peices seem reasonable but i have no idea where to get them.

 The triangle pieces are probably still attached to the dual seat.

On the 800 there are two triangular pieces that fit on the frame and allows the seat to be bolted to the bike. It has two bolts that fit to the frame and one bolt goes through it to the seat bracket. If I am not mistaken its required for a two-up as well...

i recently bought a solo seat for my 1999 800 Drifter. i removed al the old seat hardware but the new seat won't bolt up. there is nothing between the seat and the bike to bolt to. looks like i'm missing brackets or a brace. any help would be appreciated. is there a bracket? can someone tell me where to get it? do i have to make one?
