The seats may have a slight difference in the front bracket, but they should work fine. They didn't actually make oem solo's for 99/00... they came with doubles and you had to buy a Kaw accessory seat if you wanted a solo. That may be why they are listed as they are.

Is there a diffrence between the mounting of a seat on diffrent year models of the 800 drifter?
I  am looking for a solo seat  for my 2000 drifter and have seen several listed on e-bay that say fits  01-06.
Is this a fact or just a poor description by the sellers?
Any clarification would be appreciated.
