Chief, if the seat you are talking about above came from me, here are two photos of it on my bike before I changes to a tan solo and yes the horseshoe bracket is included. Sorry, but I kept the back rest for my new solo seat, I didn't want to pay $160 more for something that I already had.

I'll try to get some pics of the seat and ensure I have the seat brackets this week. We are moving stuff to another server and its taking forever.

Ok, so now you have a totally different bike, and I have a deal for you....I will be teaching 2 sets of ERC classes at Road America, this year, and it's just an hour away from you...maybe less. The dates are May 12th and July 28th or 29th...you can register online at
http://www.roadamerica.com    There are two classes in May, one morning session, and one afternoon session, and the July classes are one on Saturday and one on Sunday...See you there????

Installed a chrome version of the risers I had on my 800 today.  What a difference 2" higher and  1 1/2" back makes.  The install was even easier than on the 800, didn't really have to mess with rerouting and cables.  If anyone needs a set of black risers let me know.

Chief - keep me in to loop about the seat.

Congrats! I just put the Scootworks Phat II risers on my Drifter, what a difference!!

There is a bunch of stuff you need for the two-up seat. There is a list -  http://www.vulcandrifterriders.com/solo2dbl.html

I just got in a tan REAL corbin saddle in good condition, with the L brackets - and I believe I have the horseshoe bracket (seat stay)  that is required. I haven't listed these things yet. Not sure about pricing. Will get this squared away shortly. (I'm snowed under!)

Well after 2 years and almost 10k miles I have switched from an 800 to a 1500.  The main reason for the switch was I want to do more 2-up riding and the 800 wasn't up to the task for long distance 2-up rides.  Found a nice 2001 with about 15k miles on it and picked it up last weekend and my wife is super pumped about the new Drifter!  Wasn't sure how long it was going to take to sell my 800 with 46k miles but it only last 18 hours on Craigslist.  It was a sad day yesterday as I watched Tessie being ridin' off down the road.  They say you never forget your first..LOL

Now the task at had is to pickup some chrome risers (switching from blacked to chrome is a culture shock) and finding a 2-up seat.  Found a Corbin online for a fair price but it doesn't have any brackets so I am not sure if I should jump on it and then locate the brackets or wait for a complete seat to show up online.

Now I need to spend a few hours reading all of the 1500 posts I have been ignoring for the last couple of years to get up to speed.
