well, I use it in the tubes of my kids bicycles......and it keeps us happily "goat head" resistant for years at a time.  We sell it for tubeless tires for ATV's a lot, but not so much for tubed motorcycle tires, the kind for ATV's is thicker, and has chunks in it, the kind for tubed tires has no chunks, that is all I know about it

I JUST PUT 8 ounces OF GREEN SLIME ON EACH TIRE TUBE OF MY DRIFTER!!!

Ahh... that's the info we need.

I've always been interested - just never thought it would work in tubes.

I saw GREEN SLIME makes 2 kinds of slime
one for tubeless tires
and one for 'tubed tires'

Not a tube in that BMW tire was there?

I don't think it will work correctly in a tube... but I have no first hand experience with it in a tubed tire.

I used GREEN SLIME on my BMW R1150 FOR YEARS AND NEVER HAD A FLAT.

I did find a screw or nail in the tires a few times, but the tire never went flat...

I use a product by Simonize (got it at WalMart) and haven't had any problems.  Might have to try the Slime next time as I haven't seen any of the Simonize stuff at WalMart lately.
