 thanks for the info....

There are a couple of the discount oem guys listed on the web site in the vendors section.

BTW BikeBandit has a iphone/itouch app that allows you to search the parts diagrams on your iphone/itouch. It works and is quicker than the websites!

for OEM parts I have found MotoGrid to be fairly reasonable pricewise.  They have all the part numbers and diagrams available so you can find all your own part numbers and just make an order and not have to worry about the incompetence of the seasonal monkey on the other end of the phone.

i found the part # for the pull rod. kawasaki- 46102-1374

I have a very similar problem....great job figuring it out. What part numbers did you have to order?

i ordered thru powersportspro.com (can use bike bandit too) and ordered the pull rod & gasket. i didn't save the kawasaki numbers. my dealer is useless, they don't even keep gaskets in stock. you can email me direct if you need more diagnostic info......motosickle@yahoo.com

well folks.... i have a good clutch now! no longer is grabby and creeping forward. the pull rod was indeed broken where it slides in the shaft. i'll post pictures after i finish touching up the paint on the frame

well, i found what i believe is the problem. the pull rod id broken where it slides in the clutch hub.it pulls the plates, but not at the straight angle it should be. i'll have to order a new rod and gasket to find out if i am a good guesser.

i have had a issue with the clutch not disengaging. i thought it was stuck plates from sitting. today, i removed the clutch cover then the plates. nothing stuck. adjusted the cable several times (top & bottom adjusters). anyone had an issue with the release arm? i am going loopy thinking of what may be wrong.
