Yes thank you very much sir...i can't remember exactly how I came upon these forums but I'm super greatful for it...

I have to tell you I am in the same boat. Drifter riders are extremely creative... we sort of have to be. I have done this for a while, but almost everyday someone comes up with something new on Drifters.

I lived in Germany when I was a kid... as I recall beer was more readily available than water where we lived... <LOL>... too bad I don't live there now!

Thanks Chief... it really is a great site!

I am truly amazed at the number of folks we have attracted who have owned drifters since 1999, but have never found one of the drifter forums online.

That in itself tells me we are making an impact.

Humble....ain't he?

Look, there's other forums out there Chief.  You know that because I bump into you now and then on them.  But I have to say, this site has more Drifter specific inffo on it then anywhere else, bar none!

Thanks!

chief

Nah.. I'm just a librarian. You guys provide the "books" and the energy needed to keep me interested.

Just remember to document, photograph, video, question and share. This can get better with your help.

Without Chiefs hard work in putting together all these resources and this forum, I'd be about half lost!

Thanks Chief!

Once again I am compelled to write a note of thanks to Chief and all the rest of you who take the time to read and respond to these forums. I have been looking for a pair of mudflaps for my 1500. All I could find was flaps for over $100.00, and let's face it, a hundred dollars can be spent alot of other ways. Well, I saw a post by Chief with printable patterns for those same $115.00 mudflaps. I printed them, got some leather and chrome studs and a couple conchos and for under $30.00 I just installed a pair of "hand-made" beautys on my bike. Thank you Chief......
