Rear Turn Signal Relocation

Another member - jveley - had a good idea.  Seems to me if you just narrowed this idea up a bit it would work.  Check out the taillights on his Yellow drifter.

I talked to several local Harley dealers and speciality dealers today. Best was move the bags up and forward. Worst was Harley and I quote "buy this Harley light and figure how to mount it." Didn't buy the light...
Tomorrow I am going to relocate the bags. I will take pics and see about adding them.

Yuk, they turn signals work but can only be seen if you are 2 inches behind me (then of course it won't matter). I'm still trying to look for options.

I'm having some wiring issues but thats only because I'm a dope. I don't know what kind of light this will give off or even if they will be noticed when blinking. I like the option you sent. For the price how can you beat it.

I'm also thinking of mounting small turn signal lights to the frame that goes around the lower portion of the fender. The problem will be finding a mount for what looks like a 1/4 inch bar.

I was hoping you had a reply. I have the same issue and I am damaging the rubber stalk on the light and light damage to the bag. I found stuff for a "third" brake light but nothing for relocating the turn signals.

I just mounted my new Indian saddlebags and they are huge. So huge that they hit my rear turn signals and actually knocked them off the bike.

I'm thinking of mounting them under the brake light. Anyone know of relocation kits that will work on the 1500?
