and you could not share that with us before you had to wait till your found what you wanted and then share with us.......you must be the guy who eats all the good chocolates from the box and then shares it with others, The ones left have tooth marks and are hard centers....

Now that I won't be searching for another Drifter (for a while) I thought I would share some info on what I think is the best tool to find a Drifter, or Truck, or anything else you might be looking for.  I've done a lot of motorcycle searching the last couple of years, and Searchtempest.com is by far the best tool I've found.  I use it mainly for searching Craigslist, but it also searches EBAY, Oodle, Amazon.   It's been mentioned before, but in the spirit of John Hopkin's request, I thought I'd throw this out there, with some details on what I've learned.  There is more to it than meets the eye.

So when you go to searchtempest.com, you put in your info.  Put in your zip code or postal code and what you want (red circles).  Let's say you're at P1B 3E9 (wherever that is) and you need SNOW TIRES for your truck.
Yellow circle:  how far you want to look - this limits the search to a certain distance from your location
small blue circle:  you can select/de-select US/Canada/Mexico
Large blue circle:  Pick the category you want to search in
Green circle:  the price is important.  I use a minimum like, "100" to sort out junk you don't want included, like a "Drifter" helmet.

The search box pops up, and it lists all the Craigs ads starting with the city nearest you. You can see it search each location, and it closes the box if there are no hits at that location.  You can re-set any part of your search from this screen (red circle).  Also very useful is the blue circle - how old of stuff do you want to look at - This is REALLY HELPFUL whey you're looking at this thing EVERY 3 DAYS for your new Drifter.....    The PREFERENCES button (purple arrow) is where you set up several things you can adjust to look at only what you want:

PREFERENCES:  you can include or exclude EBAY, Amazon, Oodle,

Of course there's a price - there is always a box about half way down the first page that's called "SPONSORED RESULTS", which are just ads.  But it's simple to just close the ads box with the "X" button.

So check it out.  It's the easiest way to look for an item you want within a certain range from your home, with the least effort.
