No need to remove swing arm for tire change.
Lay out a towel/cloth to set fender on and protect. The way I do it(easy for me) with bike on jack and raised(back tire/wheel just off ground). I remove entire rear fender. Unplug wire harness left side just to front of left shock after you remove screw/cover. There's a 8mm bolt just above and over. Same bolt opposite side of fender. Remove the 4 (12mm) bolts holding fender bracket to rear housing(left) and swing arm rear (right). Hold it cause it will tip back and bang not real heavy but you do need to support it(my opinion).
When removed set on towel/cloth you have ready. I then release pressure from brake caliper(push/pull on caliper) remove brake caliper and lay it(usually on something) so not dangling from hose. Do not touch or let anyone touch brake pedal.
Remove the brake caliper bracket bolt that goes through swingarm. Place a towel/cloth on floor beneath brake area. Remove cotter key from axle nut. Remove axle while holding axle on the left side with wrench. I use a large cresent on axle nut, as not to have to remove exhaust/muffler. As I loosen I sorta slid axle to the left till nut clears muffler. Now when ya slid the axle out support the tire/wheel as it is heavy. As axle slides out the brack caliper bracket and spacer may fall and hit towel(prevents too much maring). Now ya have room to slide tire/wheel assembly over to right and disengage from diff.
Now there is a spacer in the center of diff that sometimes falls out and sometimes stays in. Just make sure it goes back same. When re-install goes back together reverse order of apart. Now I grease splines best I can and put a little grease on rubber paddles of drive hub. I re- torque rear axle from the left side and hold axle nut (rightside) with same large cresent and install cotter.
