Troll is right, almost every person here who has complained of a wobble has found it to be a tire problem. Some times it has been the rear tire! Air pressure most people fine 40 psi works best for them.

Wobbling on a single track vehicle can be one of the most frustrating things to fix. Here is a link to a blog that might give you some ideas. http://www.msgroup.org/forums/mtt/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3063
My 1500 is starting to get a little wiggle at certain speeds, but I'm replacing the tires in the next 2 weeks, so my problem should be gone. ONE THING nobody ever checks is the spokes on a wire wheel. If they are even a little loose, they will allow flexing of the rim and the rear one will have more of an effect on front end wobble than the front one. Swing arm bearings can have an effect, too but that's usually more of a feeling like the tail wagging the dog. Be sure your tire pressures are correct, and tap each spoke with a screwdriver. You should get a "ping" from each spoke. If you get anything but the same noise from each spoke, you have a problem. IF you aren't well versed in lacing and truing wire wheels, this is a job best left to an expert.

When i let go of the handle bars sometimes my front end starts to wobble. This just started on my Drifter but I had the same problem with a Restored $$$ 1972 Harley Davidson FLH. The FLH was so bad with me I had to sell it, but my mechanic and a friend had no problems on it. At one time I was told FRONT TIRES but the FLH had a new rim and tire balanced and checked 3 times. MY drifter tires are about 2 years old and not too many miles. Could it be a pressure thing?
