Those are the same pipes I have on my 1500. Are yours loud to you. Mine are really loud according to my wife. see photos below. I do love the way they look on my bike.

Mine doesn't have baffles, they truly are straight pipes. they are loud enough to make a Harley feel inadequate. My wife says she can hear me three miles away. I wish I had baffles for mine.

I still have part of the smog control hooked up. Only because I like the back fire and the flames that are produced. Looks pretty cool at night. And yes they do have a better sound without baffles, That I will agree. Cool

There was a time years ago when Hard Krome was looking for drifters so they could test the fitting of their new pipes.  If you let them use your bike they'd give you the pipes for free.  I'm still kicking myself for procrastinating on that offer.  They took it off their website now.

Guess I'm stuck with my tarnished blue vance & hines pipes   Sad

I have Hard Krome pipes on my 800 and they have removable baffles in them and they are still to loud for me. I emailed Hard Krome to see if I have the loud baffles or the quiet baffles but did not get an answer.

has anyone removed the baffles from their vance and hines longshots?  I removed the set screw in there but the baffle seems like it's stuck in and I don't want to just start wrenching on it.  Any ideas would be wonderful...thanks in advance.
