One option is,if you know someone who is handy with a welder, you could always cut it and add the desired length to it and have it re-chromed or powder coated depending on how your bike is trimmed out; I did this on the brake pedal on one of my bikes and it worked well. I had a spare brake pedal, so if I did not like it or ever sell the bike I could always change it back to the stock one.

I lowered mine to just below the rear edge of the board... so I have to try to shift it with my heal... and not accidently.

Does anyone know where to get a longer rear (heal) shifter lever?

I am 5'6" and when I put my feet on the floorboards my feet naturally come to or over the back edge of the boards. That doesn't make any difference on the right side but on the left side, my heal lands on or is just against the rear shift lever.

I would like to get one that is about 1-2 inches longer and looks like the existing one or get two new ones that are similar to factory.

Yes, I have thought of just talking the rear one off and my problem would be solved, but I ride mine mostly to and from work and I would rather not upshift with my leather shoes on.

Any ideas or suggestions are more than welcome.
