I resolve not to drink any more....  probably won't drink any less, either.

I resolve to stop letting the boss push me around at work....  Oh, wait, she pushes me around at home anyway... 

I resolve to be nicer to Ratman ......  Nicer than PC is 

I resolve I won't spend any more money on my Drifter (s) .....not any more than last year....   

And lastly,
I resolve that I will not buy any more guns.... well, I won't buy any more than average......
