This unique toolbag has silver eyelets on the front and braided trim around the edges, measures a generous 12 1/2" long by 5" round
to hold specialty and accessory tools and features:
- Thick cowhide for durability
- Riveted corners for strength
- Dual front closure straps
- Silicone weather proofing
The toolbag is securily steel riveted to a Custom Drive Shaft Cover that is reminiscent of the old sheet metal chain covers on the original Indians, and features:
- Heavy 18 gauge steel construction
- Gloss black powder coating
- Covers drive shaft and hides catalitic converter or big empty space if your DRIFTER has custom pipes
Finally, the kit includes a custom bracket - with hardware and gloss black powder coated - that relocates the voltage regulator up
front for better cooling. This is where Kawasaki locates the voltage regulator on most Vulcan models and the mounting tabs are
already on your bikes downtubes below the radiator.
The complete kit is easily installed in an hour with NO rewiring - just reroute existing voltage regulator wiring to the front.
However, I do need to know the year of your 1500 DRIFTER and if you have rear passenger pegs to include the correct hardware and
instructions. A lot of improvements for a little money!
